I know i haven’t really traveled the world yet, and that there are a lot more adventures to come, mountains to ride, countries to see or cultures to get to know. But I think I can say that my last trip to northern Norway was once in a lifetime.

Our travel destination in Norway was Tromsö, a small town located 400 km north of the arctic circle. It was also our “new home’s” coastal base.

What made the trip extraordinary and unique were the remote splitboard/ski-tours and the long hikes from our swimming hotel up to the top of 1000-1400m high mountains, which had the most amazing view to the sea I have ever seen.

The lines down to the ocean made me speechless, and the hike over the sandy beaches back “home” gave me the shivers.
What a perfect farewell night... stunning sunset, beer and grilled marshmellows!
