Chile has been amazingly beautiful. Valle Nevado was our first travel destination, two hours away from the capital Santiago de Chile.

Living high up on 3000m was quite intense after all that beach and summer time, not being used to hike and ride in the mountains for several weeks. The actual photoshoot, which had been arranged for a while, was held around the resort of Valle Nevado. It´s a great little resort with a lot of varied terrain and riding options. We were also lucky to get a little dump of snow right in the beginning of our trip and some nice fresh pow to ride on.

After 10 days of powder and backcountry riding, we decided to spend some more days visiting the capital, Val Paraiso(a beautiful village directly at the ocean) and we also managed to get some surf time in at Playa las Brisas.

To be honest, the highlight of our trip was our very last day. We were spending it at the beach including fly fishing, bbq-ing, surfing and just chilling. I am back to France by tomorrow coaching a surfcamp at the Boardriders House in Hossegor. I hope I will be able to catch some last september waves over there until my travels will go further down to the beautiful coast of Portugal. This has been a beautiful summer with a lot of action and adventures. Thanks to all of you, who have been traveling with me, it´s been good unforgetable times! Winter can start soon! But not quite yet ;) Aline.
