Check out Dan's interview on ESPN.com "Snowboarding for a living is what I have wanted since I was 14 years old going to school in Minnesota. Plus, it seems to me like a lot of snowboarders get into the scene and do pretty well for a hot minute and then slowly relax and fade out. I don't want to be that guy." Dan Brisse.

Today we had one of these typical tourist days in Christchurch. Checked out the city a bit and I have to say its a pretty sweet place to hang. The people seem to be super nice ; for example the first thing a kiwi says when he starts talking to you is always „how are you?“ eventhough you have never seen this guy before. Pretty cool thing. Recently its pretty warm here and weve been canoeing on the Avon River , climbed the curch tower to have a better overlook over the city and bought some useless stuff as usual ☺ All in all Christchurch is a pretty cool place to hang with a bit of a village flavour. Tommorow we start our trip to Tempelton Basin to check out the first snow. Well be living there for 10 days on a mountain cabin and I`m not sure whether they have intenet there. So it could take a bit till you hear something from me the next time.

Hey folks,

just landed together with Michi Berger in Christchurch Newzealand. After a 36 hour journey and stops in Dubai, Bangkok and Sydney Im pretty jetlaged now. During the flight from Syndney to Christchurh Ive seen quite an amount of snow on top of the mountains and Im already looking forward to go shred. Before that well check out Christchurch tomorrow and heading off together with some völkl guys to a resort called tempelten basin the next day. Really have to get some sleep now I`m super tired.

I just finished my yearly trip to Val Senales for a session of summer snowboarding. Val Senales is in Northern Italy, three hours from Innsbruck. It is a small place, only 3 restaurants and 2 hotels, but offers one of the best snowparks in Europe. The main line got two knuckles, each with 3 takeoffs, and one hip in the end. The sizes of the jumps are 12-22 meters and perfectly shaped, every day. It’s a great place for learning new tricks, and meet cool people. Although the place is small, the Gentlemen’s crew is doing a great job creating a good vibe. They throw a barbeque 3 times a week with free beer and food, good times! After the hill activities also include fishing and archery. Put on your beer glasses in the weekend, as plenty of Italians come from Bolzano and Milano to snowboard and party. The local pub Leo’s is (in)famous for the proho’s in the weekends, a girl came up to my buddy and asked how many sponsors he had. After he replied none, she just left... though luck! After 3 weeks with sick snowboarding, a lot of crashes and some new tricks in the bag, we went down to Rome for some party, then finished off with a day of windsurfing in Denmark, marking the end of a great summer trip!

Mitch and his mates just launched the trailer of HIKE. HIKE is a movie project about exploring amazing mountains which have never been ridden before. After locating perfect faces, ridges and bowls, they went back to these spots with our own two feet to set up base camps with tents or snow caves. "Greetings from Camp of Champions where the Session C has just begun! I have been coaching here and it is such a great summer. We had the best weather possible all last week and I have had the funnest groups of shred-motivated girls. I have met so many nice people so far and the camp is just good times. Everyone on the hill is so passionate about snowboarding that it is just so fun to ride!! Even though i dont ride for myself much, I took a couple of photos and got some filming done. here is a small selection - the COC website is uploading more pics and video by the minute!!"
