Why do you love/hate Snowboarding?

I like Snowboarding ‘cuse it helps me to forget every day life, always new places, breathe taking landscapes. I like jumping so it matches.

I hate Snowboarding for keeping me away from my girlfriend, my family and my friends. But in the end, I live my dream.

How do you keep your passion for Snowboarding alive after all these years? What keeps you coming back each season?

Being lucky to be on snow as a job, every day. I try to extend and diversify my riding skills, always trying new tricks, technical or fun. In the end, I love Snowboarding, being injuried doesn’t stop me, on the contrary it shows me how much i like the sport and his lifestyle every time im back on my board.

Is filming/shooting a job or fun for you? Why?

I was ten years old when I decided to make a living out of snowboarding, to be professional. Now it is a full time job but it brings me a lot of fun.

Do you have a special workout or training during off-season? How does it keep your snowboarding skills in check?

I do quite a lot of work out in the off season. But overall, the best preparation is done mentaly when I think about my tricks !

How do you deal with big slams? Any mental preparation?

Im used to deal with big bails ‘cause I had a lot in the past. Sometimes just spectacular, sometimes straight to the hospital. Fair enough.

Do you feel fear? How do you handle it?

I always felt fear, like for example before a session on a big feature. Fear moves into adrenalin and helps me to push myself.

Do you have any ceremony/ritual before you enter a big jump or rail or drop something?

No ceremony, just count on myself and the good vibe before dropping.

Are you a blue bird shredder only or uphill in all weather conditions?

Both. Perfect blue bird days are obviously good but bad weather is so much fun with powder days.

How do you close your boots? Tight, loose, open?

Super tight.

Sharp or round edges?

Sharp.

Last word?

What about you ?
