Why do you love/hate Snowboarding?

Everyone who ever had the pleasure to ride a snowboard knows why there is soo much love involved ! The most awesome thing is to be outside in the nature and slide down on your wooden stick with your friends. I always loved it because its such a great escape. Like as soon as Im on the board, all the problems fall away from me and everything that counts is the moment. No haters !

How do you keep your passion for Snowboarding alive after all these years? What keeps you coming back each season?

There is no such thing. How could i ever feel over slashing. Snowboarding keeps me alive thats why it is called a passion. Its about beeing true to yourself and keeping it real to the game. I still have the same feeling as when I was starting it, like what could be more intense than watching the first snowflakes fall and be full of anticipation of whats to come.

Is filming/shooting a job or fun for you? Why?

Its mega fun ! why ? Because thats exactly what i wanted to do in live. And Im very thankfull that I get the opportunity to go on missions with diffrent crews and explore the world. It becomes a job in a way that you have responsibility towards your sponsors, but then its like the best job in the world !

Do you have a special workout or training during off-season? How does it keep your snowboarding skills in check?

I think about it snowboarding 24/7, and i sk8 a lot. I also try to do other sports like biking or swimming, to work out the non snowboarding muscles. Or I just strap on my board and practice jumps on my bed.

How do you deal with big slams? Any mental preparation?

Slams happen out of the blue when you at least expect them, so there is no way to prepare for it. The only thing I learned is to deal with pain.

Do you feel fear? How do you handle it?

Sometimes yes. But its more like being aware about the sketchyness of the spot or what if it`s not working out. Its good to feel fear, because it makes you think about the consequences.

Do you have any ceremony/ritual before you enter a big jump or rail or drop something?

Usually im just hyped to shred the spot and that makes me want to rip it so bad. But if there is something big, I try to clear my mind by taking a deep breath and do the tapping thing.

Are you a blue bird shredder only or uphill in all weather conditions?

All conditions man! But who doesn`t prefer a bluebird pow day? So if there is really bad weather, we try to do something in the woods or scoop for street spots.

How do you close your boots? Tight, loose, open?

Something in between loose and tight.

Sharp or round edges?

Grinded.

Last word?

Don`t leave your trash in the mountains. Respect your elders.
