Why do you love/hate Snowboarding?

I love it because snowboarding let's me be myself. It's my ultimate way of expression. Shredding powder keeps me sane on a regular basis.

How do you keep your passion for Snowboarding alive after all these years? What keeps you coming back each season?

Just one pow turn… that's all it takes to keep the fire burning.. year after year.. The longer I snowboard, the less I can imagine my life without it. It's who I am.

Is filming/shooting a job or fun for you? Why?

I love documenting the kind of terrain i ride and how much fun i get from riding different mountains. I love it when people watch my footage and it makes them want to go snowboarding; when I can share my passion with them and let them partake in a little bit of my perfect world.

Do you have a special workout or training during off-season? How does it keep your snowboarding skills in check?

I ride all year long - in the summer in South America or on the glaciers … during the short off-season i go skating, running, wakeboarding, and surfing.

How do you deal with big slams? Any mental preparation?

I try not to slam. But when I do, I try to get back up. Stretching helps the soreness.

Do you feel fear? How do you handle it?

Fear to me is a sign i might not be ready for what im doing. i handle it carefully, observe it, consider all aspects and then i usually make up my mind that it's safe and drop in without fear.

Do you have any ceremony/ritual before you enter a big jump or rail or drop something?

i take a good look around and let the scenery of all those beautiful mountain tops put a smile on my face

Are you a blue bird shredder only or uphill in all weather conditions?

any weather!! in bluebird im usually shooting so those grey snowstorm days are very precious soulboarding days to me

How do you close your boots? Tight, loose, open?

pretty tight and i like it hard… gives me good edge control.

Sharp or round edges?

little bit of both.. happy medium i call it..
